While I don’t recommend heading to the mall today, if you happen to find yourself there and need a last-minute gift for that wine-lover in your life, check out these glasses at Sur La Table.

I’m always a fan of reusing bike parts, and this looks like a great way to do so. I wonder, how are the tubes cleaned? Rubber tubes are really dirty and smelly, not something I would like to wear. Still, I might have to give this a go.

Our friends in Hawaii sent this one in. It’s a pretty cool looking clock available over on Etsy.com. From their description:
This is a clock that was made using and old bicycle crank gear and a new quarts drive movement. It is all steel and has 2 ring gears. The clock measures approximately 7 inches in diameter. It would make a great conversation piece on your wall or great gift for that biker you know who is so hard to shop for.
I’m not sure how I feel about the fact that it is hung on what appears to be a drywall screw. A better staged photo might be in order.
Thanks Elina!
